Coverage Reinstatement for CHIP Renewal Population

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) has identified a portion of CHIP members in the July 2021 renewal population that received incorrect information in their renewal packets, resulting in their coverage ending effective July 31, 2021. HHSC is sending a notice and renewal packet to the identified population. MCNA is contacting all affected members enrolled with us to encourage them to complete and submit the packet for coverage renewal as soon as possible. Updated Updated Criteria for Dental Therapy Under General Anesthesia Form

First Dental Home Certification Process

Texas Health and Human Services-Texas Health Steps revised the First Dental Home (FDH) Certification Application in August 2020. The online FDH training course and revised FDH Certification Application must be completed and submitted to Texas Health Steps by July 27, 2021. Free CE Opportunity

The Texas Dental Alliance (TDA) is presenting a continuing education (CE) course free to TDA member dentists. New DSHS COVID-19 Vaccine Resource

The Department of State Health Services (DSHS) has launched the Texas Public Health Scheduler to help people sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine through participating public entities across the state. Become a Texas COVID-19 Vaccinator

The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) is allowing any facility, organization, or healthcare provider licensed to process or administer vaccines or provide vaccination services to enroll to become COVID-19 vaccine providers.
