2024 Clinical Practice Guidelines

MCNA adopts Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) that are based on guidance from dental groups such as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and the American Dental Association (ADA). These CPGs help our dentists make the best choices about your oral health and dental treatment. You can find our most up-to-date CPGs in the "Guides and Tools" section on our website.

Know Your Rights

As an MCNA member you are entitled to certain rights and services when being treated by MCNA network providers. It’s your duty to take part in the healthcare treatment suggested by your provider. We want to make sure that you are aware of your rights and know how to access them. A list of those rights can be found in your Member Handbook. Please read it to know your benefits.
You can always download MCNA’s Member Handbook from our Member Portal. Go to https://member.mcna.net to create your account and log in. You can also call our Member Hotline toll-free if you would like to request a hard copy of your Member Handbook.
Update Your Contact Info with Texas Medicaid

Texas Medicaid renewals are coming back. Make sure the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) can reach you. HHSC may need to send you a notice that your renewal is due or ask you for information.
Be sure to update your contact information through a Your Texas Benefits online account. It’s easy! Create a Your Texas Benefits account or download the Your Texas Benefits mobile app to view your account information, update your contact information and respond to requests from HHSC. Go to YourTexasBenefits.com to get started.
